About the Company
In early 2006, Alan McReynolds and Alan Majors forMission Statementmed AmTwo Technology to develop embedded hardware and software technologies. One of the technologies developed by AmTwo is the basis of the MileTrax product. MileTrax™ was founded in late 2007 to develop and market products based upon the patent pending intellectual property developed by AmTwo. The first product is approaching release for beta testing to a limited number of first adopters.

MileTrax™ is an early stage self-funded start-up company. Our company’s key strength is our diverse and wide-ranging technology expertise.

It is the mission of MileTrax™ to provide our customers with products that will simplify mundane tasks and provide greater efficiency in mileage reporting. We hope to facilitate an open and honest relationship with our customers. We welcome your suggestions and feedback.

Vision/Goals
By the first Quarter of 2008, MileTrax will accomplish the following goals:

  • Add key members to the MileTrax ™ team that will support the profitable growth of our company.- particularly in areas of business development and financial management.
  • Begin Beta test Phase with test market.
  • Finalize product and market deployment strategies for launch.
The Mile Trax™ Team

Alan McReynolds – President, CTO
Alan Directs and coordinates research and development activities, product development, and quality control.  Mr. McReynolds is a more research oriented and "big picture" type of guy that still likes to get his hands dirty building stuff. 

Alan began his engineering career at Giddings & Lewis Electronics and moved to Xerox.  While at Xerox he held positions in Research & Development, product development, software and control engineering and quality assurance.  Alan’s expertise is in project management, technical mentoring, system architecture, software development and support, hardware design, and embedded control, including motors, lasers, switches, relays, etc.  He is fluent in several programming languages and operating systems.  

Alan has previous entrepreneurial experience founding a software development company and a custom audio equipment company.

Alan Majors – Vice President, COO
Alan directs manufacturing, raw materials procurement and management, field service, repair, and shipping/receiving function.  He oversees the company’s facilities.  Mr. Majors is a detail oriented, "make-it-work" type of guy that still likes to understand how it all fits together. 

Alan has held software engineering positions with companies such as Draco Labs, Control Data Corporation and Western Datacom.  He co-founded AVC Electronics - a custom electronic hardware design company.  He also had tenure at Xerox where he worked in network design, operating system development and software product development.  He managed product development, launch and service teams and global system integration.  Alan’s expertise is in the following areas: system/network integration, business management, business process analysis, software/web development, project management, market analysis, business/product planning, support management, system diagnostics, PC troubleshooting, and hardware design. 

In addition to his successful endeavor with AVC Electronics, Alan has launched several successful companies in a wide range of disciplines.  They include network and computer consulting, ethnic book-seller, and day-spa owner. 

Gordon Presher Jr.
Gordon joins the Mile Trax™ team in an advisory role and brings tremendous start up and small company growth experience. Mr.Presher is currently CEO of Solar Sentry Corp. and is a seasoned entrepreneur. He previously founded and managed Ormec Systems Corp., a manufacturer of microprocessor-based motion control equipment for the automation industry. Ormec Systems made the Inc-500 list of fastest growing companies in the U.S. in 1989. In the early 1990s, Ormec grew to more than $13 million in sales, while posting EBITDAs in excess of 15% of sales. In 1994, Gordon received the Upstate New York Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Award, based on the success of Ormec. He graduated from the University of Rochester, cum-laude, in Electrical Engineering and was a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He has served on both non-profit and for-profit corporate boards.

Duff Rund
Duff is a principal and co-founder of CaterTrax and still operates one of Western NY’s most successful social catering companies as well as On-Site corporate foodservices for ExxonMobil in Rochester, NY. He has held numerous elected positions with the New York State Restaurant Association and is frequently invited to speaking engagements.
